Privacy Policy

dekimu.com is the public website for Dekimu — a small ecosystem of independent apps for freelancers. This site is a landing page and blog. It does not require an account and does not ask for personal data. We collect the minimum needed to keep the site running and use it for nothing else.

Browsing dekimu.com in a standard way, we do not collect any personal data. There is no account sign-up on this site, no analytics, no advertising, no profiling, and no data sold or shared with third parties for marketing. The one exception is the optional newsletter described below.

Our hosting provider (Vercel) processes short-lived technical request logs — IP address, user agent, requested path — strictly to serve pages and detect abuse. These logs are retained by the provider according to their own policy and are never used by us for tracking; we also hold your IP address for up to 60 seconds to rate-limit requests and do not keep it.

If you toggle light or dark mode, your choice is saved in your browser using localStorage under the key theme. This value stays on your device, is never sent to us, and you can clear it at any time from your browser settings.

If you subscribe to the Dekimu newsletter at /newsletter, we process the email address you submit, on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), solely to send the weekly Dekimu update. Subscription is double opt-in: we only add you after you click the confirmation link. Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe; unsubscribing deletes your address from the active list, and we keep only a suppression marker for 30 days so the address cannot be re-added straight away. Your address is never shared with third parties or used for any other purpose.

dekimu.com does not set any cookies of its own — no tracking, analytics, advertising, or session cookies. No third-party cookies are set by us. We run no analytics scripts, trackers, pixels or beacons in your browser — nothing in your browser reports on you; the only data that exists about a visit is the hosting provider’s standard request log described above. If a page fails to render, your browser sends us the error message (technical text, capped in length), an error reference and the page path so we can fix it; no identifier, cookie or account detail is added. We process crash reports on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating and securing the service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, Recital 49); as no identifier is included, the impact on you is minimal.

dekimu.com links to the apps that make up the ecosystem (for example, Invoice Up) and to the shared Dekimu ID at id.dekimu.com. Each Dekimu app and Dekimu ID have their own privacy policies covering the data they collect when you sign up and use them. This policy only covers browsing of dekimu.com itself.

Apart from the newsletter described above, this website does not collect personal data. Under the GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD), you may at any time exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing, and portability over your personal data. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

These providers process data under their own GDPR-compliant agreements. We select providers that meet EU data-protection standards.

The site is served over HTTPS with HSTS. Standard security headers (Content-Type, Referrer-Policy, Permissions-Policy) are set on every response.

If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
