Two weeks, in public

We build in public, which means every so often we stop and say plainly what changed. The last two weeks were busy in a way that, looking back, all points in one direction: giving people things they can check instead of things they're asked to believe. Here's the short version, without the jargon.

A privacy tool that keeps nothing

We launched Vanish — a free coach for removing your persona from the internet that runs entirely on your own device, with no account and nothing to send anywhere. We also gave it a way to track the legal deadline after you request a deletion, and to draft the complaint to your data-protection authority when a company lets that deadline pass. The right to be forgotten is only as strong as the follow-up, so we made the follow-up automatic.

Proofs built to outlast their own assumptions

Underneath several of our products is the same idea: a receipt anyone can verify. We started moving those receipts to signatures designed to survive quantum computers — and, more importantly, built in the ability to change signature schemes again later, so the proofs aren't welded to one algorithm. Most people will never notice this. That's the point of doing it early.

Receipts for agents that spend

As AI agents start to spend money on people's behalf, we made the spend part of the proof: a verifiable receipt that records the amount, the currency, and the specific permission the agent used — so a paid action by an agent comes with a statement you can audit, not a shrug. We also hardened the boring edges, because a receipt is only worth having if it can't be malformed.

The throughline, two weeks running: the strongest thing a tool can do with your trust is not ask for it.
