WIRE TYPES

ar.evaluation.v1 (conformity)

Records a conformity assessment for an AI system — the evaluation methodology, criteria, outcome, and assessor identity. TSA recommended. Conformity receipts chain via prev for periodic re-assessment.

ar.evaluation.v1 (transparency)

Records an AI Act Art. 50 transparency obligation — notification that the user is interacting with an AI system. Subject carries a sha256 commit for the end-user. Leaf node — references a conformity receipt by hash but does not chain.

WHAT IT PROVES

  • A conformity assessment was conducted before deployment (Merkle inclusion proof).
  • The evaluation methodology and criteria used (body fields).
  • An end-user was notified of AI interaction per Art. 50 (transparency event).
  • Periodic re-assessments were conducted (conformity chain walk).

WHAT IT DOESN'T PROVE

  • The AI system is safe, fair, or unbiased.
  • The evaluation methodology was appropriate for the risk level.
  • The assessor was independent or competent.
  • The system's behaviour matches its assessment results in production.

COMPOSES WITH

AER receipts reference other family members via body-level composition pointers — verifier-coordinated, not signature-mandated.

AIRAnchored Impact Receipts

DPIA receipts cite AER conformity receipts for algorithmic-impact evidence under Art. 35(3)(a).

ANRAnchored Notice Receipts

AI Act Art. 50 transparency notices may cross-check the provider DID against an AER conformity receipt.

ABRAnchored Breach Receipts

Post-breach AI evaluation may be documented via AER and referenced from an ABR event.
